A Wish For Animals is desperately in need of grants, sponsors and donations for our daily operations and for securing a no-kill shelter of our own. We have recently identified a property which could provide temporary housing for our rescued pets until we find them permanent homes.

 If you are interested in adopting any of our pets, you are asked to complete an application that tells us about you and your background with animals. If the application is approved, we conduct a home check for every potential adoption, ensuring the animal will be living in a safe environment. |
| If the application is approved, we conduct a home check for every potential adoption, ensuring the animal will be living in a safe environment. A completed application and an adoption contract is signed by you allowing the transfer of the pet to you. A $200 adoption fee for young or adult pets and $250 for puppies or kittens is paid to A Wish For Animals. Our contract states that if for any reason you are unable to keep the dog after you have adopted it, the dog MUST be returned to A Wish For Animals and NOT taken to any animal shelter, friends or family. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICANT.

We are in great need of volunteers to provide foster homes for these pets until we can secure our own no-kill facility. Our Foster program enables the pet to be involved in a family environment while they are waiting to be placed in a permanent home. This also allows the pet to avoid the lonliness of be kept in a boarding facility and allows A Wish For Animals to save on high boarding fees.
