A True Diamond in the Rough
This little baby girl Blue Pit (maybe 6 to 8 weeks old) was left tied to the rear fence of our rescue shelter with a shoe lace. When little Diamond was discovered, the lace around her neck was so tight she could barely make a sound and to top things off, she was left exposed in the heat of the sun and in a way that it was a true miracle that our staff even found her. We’re not sure how long she had been there, but immediately noticed she was very sick and emaciated.
She was rushed to our Vet and tested positive for Parvo, so she is currently undergoing treatment for this potentially lethal illness, especially for puppies of this age.
Little Diamond can use your prayers and we desperately need your financial support. Any amount you can spare will go a long way towards helping this little girl get back on her paws, so please help if you can. The cost of treating this serious illness will add up quickly, so if you would be so kind to help out we would be very grateful.
Just press the Green Donate Now button on the home page and make a tax deductible donation stating in the notes, “for Little Diamond”. Any amount will help. Diamond has a long road ahead of her. We are praying she pulls through. She’s a very sweet little puppy and deserves a chance. Thank you..
Boxers are such sweet dogs and so often we find them at area shelters in desperate need of a home. This little girl named Bonnie is just as sweet as can be and was recently rescued from the Devore Shelter. She’s looks to be approximately 2 years old and is in good health. We thought she may be deaf, but she responds to loud noises and high pitched sounds as well as hand signals.
Please help pass the word out and lets find this little girl a forever family. Isn’t she deserving of that?? She will surely add joy to your home. And being the typical boxer, she’ll keep you smiling while playing with her toys. She also appears to get along quite well with small dogs and children.
Great News! Bonnie was placed in her new forever home!
“Hey, I think we need more Cats!”
Lol, I’m not sure what it is, but kittens just put a smile on my face. Recently, we acquired two baby kittens that were abandoned. We have been bottle feeding them and they just recently switched over to food and water, so they are about ready for their new home. Being that they’re siblings, we would love for them to stay together, so please put the word out there for these little ones and lets find them a forever home.
When these little guys first arrived, they were extremely shy but after spending a great deal of time socializing them with all our K9’s around, they have become very comfortable around dogs and have come to love our boxers.
